This is a good call out. All those fake ds3s was a shyt show. Made my ps3 useless because the ds4 wasn't a good substitute for most games.

Really Kinect has found new life in my home. My 3 year old uses voice search on YouTube, Netflix, etc. I no longer have to be her personal remote

I doubt it would use significant power. It might not always be on anyways. Probably goes to sleep after a few seconds.
