I'll vote for anybody except Teddy Riley for one reason:

He's largely responsible for the one song I hated THE MOST in the 90s: No Diggity.

To this day I hate that awful corny song. It's the worst.

I'ma go JJ/TL simply cause I got personal history with Flyte Tyme. But Boyz 2 Men's II album is what got me hooked on R&B as a youngn and that was all JJ/TL.

Didn't know Jimmy and Terry wrote Bended Knee and to this day it's still one of my favorites from that album...That key change toward the end...I'll never walk a gain..Until u come back to mee... :wow:

Babyface still putting work in, though. :sas2:

Co-wrote the closing track on Bruno Mars's latest album.

What the other guys are up to?

The Land That Time Forgot
On paper, it seems more closer than it is between L.A. and Babyface vs Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis.

Teddy is good, but he more of a groove maker than an overall versatile songwriter and composer.

L.A. and Babyface get the 1992 soundtrack nod because Boomerang simply blows away Mo' Money.

However, in a battle of the bands, The Time (Jimmy/Terry) demolishes The Deele (L.A./Babyface).

Jimmy and Terry can write sensitive material like Babyface. "Tender Love" is a prime example. But L.A.
and Babyface cannot groove and funk like Jimmy and Terry.

J and T by a wide margin.
