I know what he intended, this is usually why they hire publicists and public relations though...........
I think he meant helping in s more beneficial way than giving resources to the prison that they won't be apart of foreverTo be fair, Birdman made hundreds of Ms without reading books, so his perspective is obviously completely tilted.
Or janky record contracts.cant have these nikkas readin, learning how to get up out of prison slavery...
So what are the experiences then bruhI used to work in a jail as a researcher. There are plenty of life experiences to learn from being an inmate. Books can help, but once you reach a certain point, none of that shyt matters. We don't know anything. Books are just one person's opinion. I've actually become disgusted by books and opinions recently. You gotta be yourself. Let your true self shine through. I don't know the best way to move forward. I have no idea what the best path forward is. Reading books can give your perspective and understanding. But that shyt only takes you so far. At some point, you have to be self-reliant. You have to look toward yourself for answers. No book is going to do that for you. I'm all about education, but I've reached the top of education, and I've learned, it's not it. There are other ways to learn.
You make good points. I have no comment. I just realized you can’t learn everything from books. But, you’re right, you can still learn something. I retract. Still, once you teach a certain level books aren’t going to help you. I guess you need both books and real life experiences. They should have access to books. I’m just saying all the answers aren’t there. You need to do more for the “true” answers. Perhaps I was making my point too strongly. I’m a big fan of education. It’s just not all education can be found in a bookSo what are the experiences then bruh
Where are you gonna be able to go to learn a new profession, a trade, a skill that the jail funds and how they gonna get access to that shyt when they don’t have access to basic shyt like books.
You preaching to me like I don’t know this shyt.. my entire career has been based off me understanding the theory of shyt in a book but you don’t know nothing until you put your hands to action… no shyt. Didn’t need to be told or taught that, been on it for decades
My question is wtf are THEY supposed to be doing to improve themselves and their quality of life in there? “Looking towards in yourself” aint gonna do shyt really for basic skills that may help improve their odds when they leave that place. You want them to meditate? They makes books for that shyt too…
And if they can barely get book what makes people think they got anything else worthwhile going on in there. Books are like the EASIEST shyt to get and have. Just because of your opinion as one jail researcher doesnt mean everyone in there shares that opinion. And not all books are just specifically for “learning”… some are to entertain, some are for self improvement, some are to expand horizons, inspires… books are just that.. books. Not all are fukking textbooks
True answers aren’t in that cell either. You make good points. I have no comment. I just realized you can’t learn everything from books. But, you’re right, you can still learn something. I retract.
