AZ Is 1 Of The Greatest Lyricists Of All Time

I still listen to "fan mail" like it just debuted yesterday...

And the way he drops gems is so effortless. Never preachy. Never forced. He'll sprinkle a whole track with life gems, and you'll be like

Yeah Fan Mail is classic, Paradise I fukk with heavy too, the way he spits from different perspectives from the letters are ILL, very creative and dope concept that seemed to be a little underappreciated, should be mentioned even more.

He drops mad jewels, he's very potent with his lyrics, hardly ever a word wasted, street shyt that not everyone can understand but people who do will know he knows what he's talking about. Articulation is on point, as his vocabulary usage, he can have a 16 bar verse PACKED with shyt cause of how he writes and rhymes, it would be impressive merely as a braggadocios piece displaying lyrical skills but he adds substance, gems, all different shyt too, always feel like you getting so much from his work. I wonder how long it takes him to write usually because his shyt is really intricate lyrically.

You're so on point man... so on point.... Do you write? Because one of the hallmarks of effective writing is conservation of words, and precise, concise wording.... AZ rarely wastes a bar. Same with Black thought... Never waste a word or a bar.

no it isn't. the intro's weak, the opening track is forgettable,there's a country western sounding beat, and an illuminati song with a wack piano loop.

There's stuff you could nitpick, but I always considered Doe or Die to be a cult classic.
