these awards feel more like popularity contests moreso than body of work, basically if you produce more hits then you are producer of the year, as opposed to being consistent with quality, and by quality i mean shyt you will actually listen to past the radio cycle.

That's a dope beat and all, but "Otis" was a beat that had a lot of rappers droppin' verses on it by making their own remixes. "Otis" is basic, but addictive. No knock against "Bands", but "Otis" was huge. A lot of Mike Will's work is just now catching on even though he's produced several street bangers within the last year.
