Ayo, Jesus was out here acting like a whole genie. And we act like it's a shock he was crucified.

Lol. The Bible is filled with stories that lets you know God doesn’t take himself serious. He just out here having fun. I mean what would you do if you were God with the infinitude of space at your disposal? You could create virtual worlds and alternate between each, visiting, causing havoc, running and hiding while giggling.

Jesus wasn't crucified because of miracles. He was crucified because he challenged the authority of the pharisees.

Incorrect. He was executed because he claimed to be a 'King' while Israel was under Roman rule which Roman authorities viewed as a treasonous threat to their power.

Mark's Gospel is HEAVILY propagandistic against the Jews due to the failed Jewish Revolt which happened around the time he wrote it in 66-70 CE. Christians were in the process of breaking away from Judaism and were trying to gain more converts so dissociating themselves from the Jews was in their favor to prevent further persecution.

Pilate, by most accounts, would not acquiesce to Jewish demands for ANYTHING, much less to kill someone for them.

Most of the OT was myths/legends/war propaganda spun into theocratic narratives. The NT was exposition/commentary on the OT intermingled with Greco-Roman biography and organization of a movement under constant persecution.

There's also about 2,000 years of history and philosophy spanning all the Books.
its funny when people think commentary is woke or too political when it's always been around. Alot of the shyt we read about or watch on TV is based on old tropes too. People really do not pay attention to lyrics or dialogue within shows, they just like the explosions, the hordes of "bad guys" getting killed from TV or the wacky noises musicians make. Never paying attention to the undertones.

I've always thought the bible was just as you said. You can tell some parts of Genesis were hitpieces on Snake Cults and Kundilini while at the same time having a meaning for something else. Instead, people think if you utter a verse, magical powers are supposed to happen

Jesus said we’d do miracles greater than Him

let that marinate for a minute

And we have.

We can pick up an electronic object and talk to someone many seas away.

We can look into an electronic object and see what people are doing thousands of miles away.

we can move mountains and replace them with roads and houses.

We can turn man into woman and woman into man.

we can fly across a vast body of water without getting wet. Jesus walked on water. Homie, we off that. We flying !!

:wow:

it was written!!

This is why reading the text WITHIN IT'S PROPER CONTEXT is important. It's bad enough we're separated from the events by a couple thousand years, but trying to understand the way ancient people viewed the world through the eyes of 21st Century civilization just doesn't work.

Why?

We, in the present, are not the intended audience for the texts at all.

Real: Jesus was a broke person with a good heart who’s mom had him out of wedlock. People starting feeling his energy so the elite got him out of here.

Christian/religious take: God sent Jesus to earth, not just send but had him be born :dahell: .to a virgin :what: and spent probably some of the most useless 33 years in the history of the planet and hasn’t been back since.

The problem is also how elements from The Divine Comedy and Paradise Lost are being interpreted borderline canon. As alot of the tropes attributed to Christianity are actually from those pieces of FICTION rather than the actual scripture. The same thing with the Prosperity "fake positivity" preaching

The Gospels are ALL written in the same format: Greco-Roman biography. They weren't concerned with anything 'mundane' so you don't get a year-by-year documentation of the life of the subject. What you WILL get is spectacular origins and 'miracles' showing how that person was 'favored' over and above 'regular' people.

What's considered 'canon' isn't important.....unless you're Catholic.

The messages in the texts are.

If they can garner within readers a better understanding of the text, no harm, no foul. If, on the other hand, you use them for your own selfish ends, by all means, you should be called-out for it.

Exactly.

And one of the main ways to get people to resign themselves to mediocrity is...CHRISTIANITY!

Most Christians cannot fathom someone having Christ-like ambitions to do the great works. They have been conditioned to seperate themselves from divinity and will instinctually 'crucify' anybody who actually delves into the human potential that jesus was a purveyor of.

He never asked for your worship, to be held up so high that you can't even hear or see what was intended to be shown. He became an enemy of the church (and the state) because he was on a life or death mission to empower and awaken mankind to the true nature of reality, thereby destroying the control system. He was the "NEO" in that iteration of the matrix.
Christianity might be the real anti-christ religion
