Yes, because if they don't win the play-in tourney, they won't be in the Top 8, which means they won't be a playoff team.... which also means, they are in the lottery... which more than likely means, Orlando is getting a lottery pick

yeah it seems obvious in hindsight, but I was originally thinking that play-in means they technically made the playoffs, thus no lottery.

I don't want to lose a lottery pick, that's not hard to comprehend. You're holding onto hope that they miss the playoffs and jump into the top 4 right? With how this season has gone, some bullshyt like Chicago moving up to 5 will happen and I'm sure you would love that too right?

That shipped sailed , the bulls clinched a play in spot. Depending how they do in the play in they’ll finish with a 13th-14 pick or if they miraculously win 2 games 15th or 16 pick

They’re gonna give up a lottery pick unless they clinch the 7th-8th seed. They had a better chance of jumping in the lottery than winning a playoff series before acquiring Beverley . For a team capped out with no high upside young prospects ,no future picks except that lottery protected Portland pick (besides ‘24) that’s a chance I was willing to take.these mf’s gonna get smoked (maybe lose in 6)when shyt gets real.Whole season was a disaster

I already explained to you the lakers,pelicans & grizz jumped into the top 4 with the 10th,9th & 8th odds(pelicans got Zion,grizz got morant lakers got 4th pick). The lottery been flattened , it was a chance I was willing to take over a almost guaranteed 1st round exit

they gotta win 2 games at Toronto & Miami/Atlanta just to face the bucks in the 1st round
