I have to imagine that the team feels helpless in these situations. They see it happening and have no answers.
I mean, I've been calling out Billy Donovan. The Bulls had no business losing this game tonight. However, what was the thought process here?
Indiana scores and goes up 1, with 31 seconds left. The Bulls have 2 timeouts. They can advance the ball, draw a quick hitting play and still be in a 2 for 1 situation and get the last shot if the Pacers go down and score again.
This really made absolutely no sense, and I would expect an NBA coach to understand this type of shyt. Also, look at who's defending Vuc for the majority of the possession. Turner is running around playing safety and guarding Caruso and shyt. This team's BBIQ is low, I get it, but Billy Donovan really ain't coaching shyt.
Zach is not even good in these kind of situations where he's dribbling for more than a few seconds. And after he fukks up on the first pump fake at the top of the key for 3 and the play looks like shyt, why not call a timeout to ensure you get a good fukking shot at least????
The players are underwhelming for sure, but the most depressing thing is knowing that Billy Donovan is relatively safe and will be this team's coach unless he steps down or some shyt.
