anyway the bulls can get relief if he's forced into retirement and insurance pays out his contract?

can they get any of his salary off the books that way?

If AK could have gotten some better protection on this ‘23 1st this decision to blow up the team would be so easy right now. If you have top ten - lottery protected, you just blow this shyt up and start fresh with Pat and whatever top 10 pick you get it a very strong 2023 draft class. Mavs are so desperate to get Luka help, we could prob get a Gobert like haul of picks back from them since they don’t have any players to exchange that are assets. Demar is still playing well so you could get value back for him. Caruso could fetch a 1st and a young player it sounds like. Even a Vooch rental prob gets us a protected 1st back.

Obviously they expected to be a top 5 seed with this team, but shyt went south quickly. I don’t even know if Zo ever plays again. This team will just suck again next year too.

and Lauri looks like damn near all nba :skip:

He's a 1st Round Pick who has PG skills and is unselfish and a good passer with good defense. He's also a better finisher than Lonzo. I didn't say he's better than Lonzo, I said they need to develop him and look forward because Lonzo might be done.

Dalen's been playing well during his stints with Windy City also.







I mean, whether it's college, the NBA or in the G-League dude is creating plays, running in transition and pushing the pace. He's just not a good shooter right now.

Probably if that comes to fruition. Will have to see what happens from here.

Can't even trade him either cause the league all knows the situation.
