On this team, Pat needs to get to the line at least 4 times a night and be utilized enough to be hovering around 4 assists a night also. The coaching staff has to continue to increase his usage, because as we saw against the Wizards, even without DeMar, there is no switch that goes off and he goes into score mode. He goes with the flow to a fault.

With that said, they need him to be getting around 12 to 13 shots a night, not 8. The Wizards game was Passive P that blessed us at the beginning of the year. Hopefully he snaps out of that and gets back on track tonight.

To play Devil's Advocate, the team has improved and added much more firepower since he was drafted. His numbers could easily be lower (like Coby's) since they added more scoring.

I want him to go out and get more of his, he has to take the opportunities and convert them. AKME saw a 2 way playmaker when they drafted him. They spoke about his ballhandling and how he was a PG in HS before a growth spurt. Outside of his rookie season, we haven't seen him utilized in that way.

The Bulls are 5-0 when he scores more than 15 points this season. They need him to be a consistent threat to win more of these games. Best solution would be for Pat to get his ass to the FT line. With his size alone, he should be able to attack and get fouled twice per game. That alone would get him to 13 or 14ppg versus the 9 to 10ppg he's averaging now.
