I think we need to be patient with Pat. This is only the 4th game in his second season. Like the rest of the team he's probably still figuring stuff out.

Troy Brown Jr, got up 9 shots in 16 minutes last night. Pat got up 3 in 25.

I get being patient, but it's something to be said about his lack of aggression. If he's not going to take shots or even hunt for them, then he needs to be a menace on the glass and defensively. Bulls are a small team, he's gotta be a top rebounder AT least since we don't even have a PF playing more minutes than him.

If we can finish this around .500, I'll be happy

My exact thoughts, very similar players, same school but Barnes is active and not afraid to make mistakes...Williams just floats 75% of the time. If they're not gonna get you shots, then be the ultimate energy dudes....get every rebound, disrupt passing lanes, get some blocks.
Why is not getting more transition points, where the alley oops at?

DO SOMETHING, MY NIKKA:martin:

Bc hes not really a 4.....being forced there bc AK didnt complete the cypher by getting a legit starting 4

And not to pile on but not sure why Pat is considered a plus defender already...he lowkey gets roasted regularly by even non stars....I listen to a lot of nba podcasts and ppl already talk about him like he is some good defender....when in reality....he isnt even close

I still have hope but BD needs to get in his ear and tell him if you dont play aggressive and get in the mix, I'm sitting you down. I just wan tf dude to realize the mind state that is necessary to be successful bc this tiptoe thru the tulips shyt he is on AINT IT. Get ya mind right lol nikka:ufdup:

I dont wanna hear about the injury either, it was just an ankle sprain and he is 20....not like a 33 yr old with slower recovery

p-will should be a PF based on his size. his handle isn't good enough to be a SF IMO.

Yeah. Even if plays aren't getting run for him, he should be getting up more than 3 shots.

Green gets in the game and you feel it immediately. When he gets the ball and sees an opening, he's driving to make something happen.

Scottie Barnes plays how I thought Pat Williams would be playing now.

If the lights come on, we take an even bigger leap.

The whole, "he can be as good as he wants to be" got me translating that as, "this nikka just don't understand what it takes yet"...
He is the X-factor for this team's ceiling this year.

Honestly, I'm looking forward to seeing how Coby looks when he's back. One thing I know about him is that he's going to bring energy and fly around.

The bulls had 9 of their 12 to’s in the last 13 minutes of the game , that full court press had them flustered

I’m gonna be patient with p williams cuz he’s behind cuz of missing training camp & he’s the 5th option out the starters. Vooch been missing mad lay ups & 3’s since pre season but the mid range been good. Dude will be straight

If Coby messes around and catches the defensive hustle bug like some of his teammates he’s going to be amazing to watch off the bench. He’s going to put up points regardless but that next dimension would be :wow:

Y'all getting ahead of yourselves you've played 3 garbage teams so far. I just looked at the Bulls schedule and your next 12 games are against playoff teams. I don't wanna come off as a hater but theres a very good chance yall might get to 8 losses before 8 wins

It's not Chicago's fault that whoever put the NBA schedule together are casuals.
:manny:

With the moves and excitement around this team going into the season, you would think that the League would be smart and showcase a major market right away.

I don't think anyone's getting ahead of themselves. Cautiously optimistic is the tone of the thread and that seems about right.

You can bank on at least 1 3 pointer with the highest arch known to man, and 1 tantalizing drive finished with a sweet floater. Hell, you might get a fast break, lazy ass dunk or a stop and pop mid-range shot, then this nikka Pat goes ghost trying to be the ultimate teammate passing up shots and looking stiff as fukk trying to get a loose ball.

Yeah, it's safe to say he's starting to get on my nerves. I should've known when he was singing Drake like some fruit cup.

Let me chill.
