Wow. I still cannot believe this team beat Boston and Milwaukee at the start of this 15 game stretch I mapped out.
If not for those wins, this team would be 9-18 right now and the conversation is probably completely tilted towards making major moves and breaking up the Mid-3. Team is unpredictably mid and competitive in every game. Last year they would just get smoked by any good team, now they don't even get blown out really, they just fall behind by double digits every game, come back to tie or take the lead, then lose in the clutch.
This is the script every night. The wins they squeaked out really got the front office double downing on this "core" talking about when healthy they making the playoffs.
This team has had their main 3 guys playing in the bulk of all these games for a year and a half almost. There are teams that win at a crazy rate without their main guys in the regular season, let alone a key role player (Lonzo). Lonzo Ball should get MVP votes, his impact is clearly organization changing.
