AD has been a shell of himself up until recently. Constantly injured and playing soft. Most fans would not want their team to overhaul the roster for that version of him. Especially not the Bulls. The Vooch trade was bad enough.

If akme was going to make that move it should have been to start the season, when his value was dirt low on a low risk high reward sort of move. Now that Davis back here in play, would take a package we don't have for him.
Shell of himself... or just hurt/injured?
He was a shell. For the past couple of years he's played soft and timid.
And it's crazy fans act like the sky is falling because Zach isn't averaging 30 points post surgery. Mind you, he hasn't even played 20 games yet. Yall would not be able to handle AD being as fragile as he is. Overhauling the roster for him would have put most Bulls fans over the edge.

But an internal move that could be at least attempted immediately, is giving coby and dragic some of those minutes Caruso eating up maybe even ayo, and running more plays that gets them a good look from 3. Seems most of the time they even taking 3s is the ball just happens to be in there hands and they just launch them. Them taking more 3s needs to be a set in the offense.
I was listening to the locked on bulls podcast and they made a good point regarding PW vs Barnes.....Barnes was getting 11 to 15 shots a night and Pat is getting like 8. So at a certain point do we keep Zach and give ayo and Pat 10 or more shots a game to see what they can be?

He needs more shots and more touches period. That's the most frustrating thing when discussing Pat. When he starts get more usage regularly then we can see what he can be. Until then, if he doesn't make damn near all his shots people will be on bullshyt.

I don't personally feel pwill lack of shots is rooted in him being on the floor with derozan and lavine believe it or not. I think he could more shots in a faster offense , faster pace. If ball was here we could be getting rebounds and taking off and getting pwill on the run. That part of our offense has been eliminated due to no lonzo/no true pg
He can't get more shots with the way this team is currently built.
