I think Billy has actually done a fairly reasonable job with this team so far… the notion that he “doesn’t make adjustments” has largely been unfounded this season, whether right or wrong he’s sat star players he’s sat Pat when he thought that would motivate him he’s gotten rid of the Demar ball sub patteren to start the second quarter that he used last year …he’s finally brought Pat out of the corner a little and utilized him as a roller …he’s hid Vucc on defense by deploying a collapsing philosophy on the help side ..he’s for the most part minimized the reliance on Vucc offensively and while I think he can do more with this ..he is one of the “3 allstars” so you can’t freeze him out entirely …
Ultimately fans complaining about their coach is usually an overused overstated trope that boils down to some reductionist outrage over “rotations” because that’s as far as most fans can go when it comes to coach commentary… it’s also a convenient deflection from fans simply not comprehending from the beginning that this roster just is what it is …treadmillville …there should really be no complaining because this is what they wanted and at the end of the day the “3 allstars” that AKME decided to build this team around are going to be what determines the bulls future not Billy Donovan or any other coach for that matter
