I dont take the rankings or even the negative commentary on the bulls personal because the truth is this is a show and prove league and many of these guys just were not watching us over the past couple years. They legit don't know what we have and the potential of the roster all they know is the record.
Its hard for me to see this not working but hey weirder things have happened.
I know y'all gonna shyt on me for this, but this bulls team seems about as good and with the same ceiling (relative to the rest of the conference) as Derozan's Raptors. Well equipped for potentially deep playoff runs (with the heat being their nets/bucks, stopping them from ever making the finals lol), regular season soldiers. Of course, this team on paper is better than those Raptors, but the entire East got better as well.
I'm predicting 48 wins, will be disappointed with anything less than 45. I want an appearance in the second round for me to be satisfied with the season. Honestly, as a bulls fanatic but NBA casual, this will be the first season I watch every single game since yimmy left

I see it about the same as you . 2nd rd ceiling but I'm liking the direction of the franchise. The hope for me is, AK will continue to flip and move around pieces til he finds the title contending core. Might be this one might not who knows but I love the aggression. Thing about the roster it has potential with players that have good value so if it's not working out other deals can be made
The issue with the way the roster was constructed before we were stock piling 7th 8th picks who were not working out for us so their value on the market was weak. It's a major reason AK had to attach 1st rd picks like he did unfortunately.

) long enough where it’s just hard to envision the Bulls jumping into top 5-6 seed territoryI get it and also feel that sentiment. Even as a Bulls fan I need to see the wins to believe it
the stench of Garpax is gone though so there is hope. If they put this team together (which they never could have accomplished because it required singing good free agents and manipulating the cap correctly to execute the plan) I would probably assume it would somehow fail and implode

When I was referring to this being the greatest off season in bulls history it was in terms of free agency and trades. Not the draft.
Didn't think I had to explain something so clear like no way would anyone think that anyone would suggest free agency this year is greater than drafting jordan but clearly I'm dealing with imbeciles and trolls so you have to walk them through this slowly as this apparently is a remedial bunch smh
