Loss is mainly on Donovan imo
Vuc was a mess and we had Drummond on his way to a 20/20 game but more importantly was keeping poetl off the offensive glass. Almost immediately once vuc comes in poetl gets a offensive rebound which resulted in a 3 and a floater to go.
Late game execution was bad. Basically was either derozan iso or a 3 from guys who shouldn't be shooting 3s that late in the game.
I agree with others that Williams should have gotten another look.
Refs blew some calls too.
I kept counting how many games we lost last season based on players who had nothing going being subbed in by Donovan. This the first one and likely won't be the last. It's why I got to the point where I was saying I'm not sold on Donovan as a coach.

The dreaded 4 guard lineups did them in last night. I watched the game highlights to process the 4th quarter again.
Bulls were up 7 with 7 minutes or so left. The Bulls had either Drummond or Vuc (briefly) out there and 4 guards basically. They also already had 112 points at this point in the game. They were not hurting for scoring in this game (even without Zach available).
Came down to stops and finishing possessions on the defensive glass. Spurs had like 3 or 4 offensive rebounds that resulted into scores or fouls. Would have liked a defensive lineup and more size on the floor to maintain the lead and not just let SA to just keep getting whatever they wanted. Coby had it going all game too...

Add in the fluky plays that also happened throughout the game (Peortle literally throws a horrible pass that hit the rim, and bounced back to him that resulted in a dunk
, Green saved a ball under their basket that got them points, the bang bang charges etc). Just a bad L.
