A lot of us were cool with sitting Zach when Coby got back earlier in the season when he was dealing with the thumb injury.
This is a good move. His knee probably is a pain tolerance thing and he's holding off on surgery till the off-season. They should work in some rest days for DeMar too.

I was always meh on WCJ, he seemed a bit entitled and whiny at times but he is actually has been better this year. His percentages are higher than Vuc, he just gets 5 less shots but has similar stats and isnt food defending the pick n roll
Vuc helped us recruit DeMar and show FAs that we werewilling to make moves tho so i cant really regret the trade besides that extra pick but it is what it is

Which is the point i been making. If he better elsewhere great for him he wasn't that here. Same for Lauri. Sometimes situations make or break a player. Glad for him but he wasn't cutting it here.
WCJ played 2 of his 2 & 1/2 years as a Bull under Boylen unfortunately - it’s impossible to evaluate these players that played under him. Wendell just didn’t pop with us, he was always underwhelming here. On top of that he was injured like every season, so that was frustrating but it also probably played a factor in his development.
End of the day, that trade for Vuce was important for the franchise to make a statement that we were taking winning seriously. It strengthened the message to Zach we would get talent and it played a factor in us being able to land Demar, to a lesser extent Zo and put a roster together
