I watched demar here and there while he was in Toronto and some with the Spurs.

I legit have never seen him going nuts like he is on this current streak. He has been playing out his mind. And with all the injuries we been dealing with he is legit carrying the team right now. Maybe it was the kawhi trade, maybe it was the worst signing of the off season report, but something done got under derozan skin and got him motivated as hell. Dont know how long he can keep this going but this shyt crazy to witness

Billy deserves some credit for putting Demar in the perfect position for him to excel and work to his strengths. He’s empowered to do what he does best and a lot of coaches/systems wouldn’t encourage his heavy usage of the midrange game. This run he’s on is wild but a lot of it is due to Demar being given free range to operate with a full green light to play to his strengths

this is sounding super concerning at this point

I think its clear he will need his knee scoped / cleaned - which would likely mean a 6-8 week absence
I think he wants to play through it because this is his first opportunity to play in the playoffs and win games

it seems like he and the team will have to decide if he can play through it without the threat of any structural damage occurring (I dont see how thats possible)

he probably should have just got the scope when the injury occurred a month ago, he would have had the same timetable to return as Zo & Caruso most likely. Im guessing he held off on that because those guys were out though.

Its also clear he isnt the same player right now

There was a large sentiment when he had the thumb injury that he should sit for a bit and heal up and let Coby come back and just be asked to score more.

Now we're here
