This easily could be a 10 point game if nikkas weren't smoking layups on fast breaks and blowing 3 on 1 opportunities.

Funny I was trying to come up with a Hield/ Holmes trade earlier today

I could do without Hield....he has been overrated. Can only shoot 3s and absolutely nothing else, cant defend a chair either

Seriously, the Toronto game was all I needed to see to know he wasn't right with that back.

Need to sit him and he prolly should miss the ASG but that's not going to happen. The more injuries he continues to play through, the elevated risk for a serious injury later on
:francis:

Same shyt happened to D Rose before you know what happened. Little nagging injuries kept building up

it's infuriating, but lets be reality. matt thomas should NEVER be a rotational player on a good team. so as long as that happens, we are in for a world of trouble.

Dude has no business in the league:martin:

:snoop:
Why is Zach's handle so fukking garbage this season?
Is his hand still hurt?

Fixed...
Dude literally just be losing the ball off his dribble every single game damn near.
He be on that BG7 dribble package:lolbron:
Starting to get worried with us constantly losing to these top teams :martin:

Offense and defense was trash

Without our 3 best defenders and a bench full of future Chinese League nikkaz, it is what it is:yeshrug:

pretty much this, and its going to continue for the next 2 months until Zo & Caruso are back

both were on pace for All Defensive NBA team - its just a huge blow for this team that cant be fixed until they are healthy
just having one of them would have allowed us to stay afloat defensively, now its gonna be a continued free fall on that side of the ball

the injuries have made it hard to get excited for this team, getting Zach back would be huge though

we just have to hope Zo & Caruso can get back on the court for the final 5-8 games (basically last week of March) and its enough time to ramp everyone back up for a playoff run

posted this a couple weeks ago, it’s just the reality of this roster right now. our entire defense is predicted on Zo & Caruso’s ability to be elite point of attack defenders, switch on everything and disrupt passing lanes. they were elevating everyone else’s defense and made Vuce passable on D

I don’t think there is any fix without them, we just need to win games against the teams we’re supposed to beat and stay afloat until the end of March

They just need to give themselves a chance to win. And in order to do that, they can't commit dumbass fouls on teams in the penalty, they can't just tackle 3 point shooters like they're playing a different sport, they can't fukk up basic fast breaks... All that doesn't even have anything to do with the guys that are out.

That's just on the team's lack of focus and low awareness on both sides of the ball. The lack of attention to detail is alarming imo. With high bbiq players on the floor, the overall boost and the number of things that get covered up is a true luxury for a coach.

Now, without the high effort and energy smart glue guys on the floor, I'm noticing sooooooo many breakdowns on just matching up in transition.

It's embarrassing breh. Like how are we giving up layups and wide open 3s after made basket delayed transitional plays all because dudes don't know who they're guarding. I mean, that's not even about physically playing defense, that's just paying attention to wtf is going on

:francis:

They play commit cheap fouls, give up and 1st, foul 3 point shooters etc, dig a hole... Then they make a run which we all know is coming, but since they been playing undisciplined and sloppy ball for the majority of the game, it's too much to overcome and they take an L.
