My son Caruso :mjcry:

Lavine is looking like he could raise his value this season he looked like a star this game

Our offense looked ugly at times especially when derozan seemed to want to take every shot , he can't do that. But it was encouraging to see the Bulls lock in and be willing to grit and grind to stay in the game. Our defense was good last night

Didn't have a clue caruso game was this complete.

Don't know who has to get bumped out the rotation but I need to see alize and ayo on the floor this season.

It's probably an unpopular opinion in here, but I never liked the Derozan signing. But we'll see.

I think the signing is still good, we just need some time to gel. He has to understand he can't go on personal runs and kill the flow of the offense.

Caruso is going to be th ed most underrated bench player. The perfect bench guard imo. Can defend, provide some ball handling, can shoot and score enough to have to be accounted for...can finish in transition.

I'm not a huge fan of the DDR signing....in a vacuum I get it, it's good to add as much talent as possible but if he's gonna revert to being a ball stopper instead of a ball mover who can get iso buckets WHEN needed....that's not great. 26 mill to be a 3rd option. I'm going to give him time to acclimate tho

Also I wonder what the long term for P Dub is.....as of now he is basically just a 5th option garbage man guy.....you dont draft dudes top 5 to play that role. Also he has more value as a big 3 than a small 4 longterm

Kinda wish we coulda got a vet PF so Pat could come off the bench and get more offensive opportunities bc another year of him getting just 6 shots ain't gonna do much for his development. If that's the plan, he has more value as a trade piece for a high level player.

They're gonna have to figure that out after this sesson

been saying that Pat's development has to be one of the main priorities of this team for the next 2-5 years...I really do believe he can be special

Y’all gotta be patient with the DeRozan takes.

He hasn’t jumped off the screen as much as the other new signees have so I wouldn’t even be surprised if he and Billy were on the same page about him having a green light, even if it doesn’t go with the game plan. Billy likes testing things and using moments in a pre-season game to try to get a new star signee in rhythm is worth it even to the point of being willing to take an L. There will be several times this season we’re going to be glad we have DeMar.

All accounts from camp are that the team is doing more over passing than anything and that everyone is incredibly unselfish. Learning to gel and figure out how to work with each other doesn’t happen unless you have moments like last night with DeMar.

He’s not going to figure out how to be who you want him to be on this team otherwise.

If they are going all in, then Pat isnt gonna get many touches, def wont be the focal point all offensive....he basically is just gonna be a 3 and D guy

I don't see him getting the 10-13 shots a game that he needs to grow in the current starting lineup. In that case, why even keep him? He still has lot of folk who see strong potential in him. If he isnt gonna be treated like the future, you might as well use him in a package for a true #2 bc I'd rather have Vuc as #3

The longer you wait, the older a player gets, some of the shine starts to fade. And imagine having to reup Pat in 2 years when you barely know what he can truly do

Last however many seasons I’d see Detroit on the schedule and it’d be like a 50/50 chance at a win. Going into tomorrow knowing we’re gonna whoop their ass is a great feeling :wow:
Breh, I have no idea who is even on Detroit's squad besides their 1st round pick who won't be playing. :mjlol:

EDIT: Just looked at their roster...besides Jerami Grant their rsoter is a NBA wasteland. :picard: Very on brand for the city though. :patrice:
