Zach Lowe might wanna redo his league pass rankings.
Honestly even as just an NBA fan instead of a Bulls fan, the Bulls would still be at the top of my list for watchability. It's an interesting blend of players, a uniquely built team, there will be high-energy help defense causing a lot of fast breaks and we're probably going to lead the league in dunks. Lonzo with more freedom and shooting skill than ever, Lavine with less defensive focus on him, Demar surrounded by shootings and bringing the midrange back to Chicago, we don't even know how good Pat can be, Vuc is one of the most skilled bigs in the league. Carushow, Airplane Mode, Alize is a very unique player, Javonte Green combines elite athleticism with an elite motor (I wasn't even thinking about him as part of the team before these preaseason games, what a luxury), if Coby is playing well he's exciting, Troy Brown Jr is still 22 and seems to be a good defender with a decent handle at the minimum, Ayo is an all-American built like Jrue Holiday, even Simonovic is interesting simply bc he comes from the same Serbian team as Jokic and AK scouted him. We'll have good players on the floor at all times.
Idk how much being a Bulls fan colors my glasses but I watch the NBA in general- I hunt entertaining matchups over everything, the Bulls have been unwatchable the past few years (last year was aite) so I've mostly branched out. And if I was a neutral fan I don't think I would be missing many Bulls games either.
