Very poor frontcourt, too many undersized guys at PF position and center is so so outside of Vucevic.

Dude think it's 1993 :wtf:
Lol, 93 has nothing to do with this :mjlol: that year also had bunch of teams undersized at certain positions :mjlol:

Small ball ain't winning you shyt unless you have a crazy stacked up talent. Look at the slightly less talented squads (non big three superteam) that won championship:

Bucks - Giannis and Lopez
Raptors - Marc and Ibaka
Lakers - Dwight and AD
Spurs - Tim still going strong
Mavs - Dirk and Chandler

Now look at the other recent teams. Blazers keep failing because their backcourt is undersized and their frontcourt is weak as fukk, Celtics kept failing to make the finals because their frontcourt was weak too.

The Bulls will make the playoffs, they are good enough for that, but if you are hoping the team would become a championship contender in the east....that roster ain't gonna cut it. Three undersized PF's and center position with lack of defense other than Tony Bradley off the bench.

I'm not talking about Bulls winning a championship. I am saying the success formula is not a small ball nonsense by giving the examples of less talented teams that won it all with decent frontcourt. So if Bulls want to achieve something great in a few years like a few deep playoff runs, this type of squad ain't gonna cut it. Obviously the current GM is better than Garpax shyt, but will be interesting to see what's the ceiling of this team.

I dont have as deep concern mainly because the roles being filled here are bench roles and I don't see the many east teams with such a tall bench that we are going to pay for having Bradley Derrick Jones Jr/and Alize Johnson etc on the floor. Seems Akme were aiming for a type of roster that was athletic and played on both ends of the floor and he achieved that. Also have to factor in what exactly was available on the market and with that imo akme assembled the best they could with what was available

As far as title contention we simply have no idea what we have right now until it hits the floor so the hope would be let's see them play then fix the holes as it goes along. But you now have quite a bit of potential on the bench with a lot of defense coming from that bench. Not seeing the undersized thing some are trying to point at Vucevic is not small and stays relatively healthy and is a good rebounder. Patrick Williams is listed at 6'7 but in summer league looked more 6'9 and they are eating up most the minutes there I think the "93" comment was more in reference to thinking we still need traditional positions filled in a league that is going positionless and akme is catching up to the times.

Giannis is a generational talent with two all star teammates.

The Raptors team had a top 5 player in Kawhi, an all star in Lowry and Pascal.

The Lakers team had AD an elite talent, Bron, arguably a top 5 player of all time.

Those Spurs team really didn't lack talent.

Philly is big as fukk and can't get over the hurdle.

Utah had the best record in the league last year starting Royce O'Neal at the 4. They lost to a Clippers team starting Marcus Morris at the 4.

Aaron Gordon can't be much bigger than Pat and he was on a team that probably makes it to the western finals if Jamal Murray doesn't tear his shyt.

Phoenix made it to the finals starting Jae Crowder at the 4.

No one is saying the team as presently constructed is a finals team though.
