Yeah. We used to own the guitar and it was used heavily in our music.

People like Ernie Isley, the Funkadelic guitarists, etc.

Well to be fair, as a Prince fan for longer than most posters have been alive, fact of the matter his merits as a guitar player have been only discussed at depth relatively recently. I mean dude was always great but that performance on the RRHOF opened a lot of non-fans eyes and made even a lot of fans go back into the catalog. But I'm glad the OP found out and is checking out his music. But if you can save up the money, see him live because he really goes off.
