The NBA isn't spying on every single player's personal life. Melo had eyes on him based on the people he was surrounding himself with. They're not worried about guys like Steph or Giannis.
I never said they are spying on every player. If they have reason to believe that you’re going to damage the NBA brand they’re definitely going to do research on players personal activities especially if you’re one of the faces of the NBA like Dwight Howard was.

You seem to be missing the point since you brought up Steph and giannis. If you’re a player that is suspected of engaging in deviant activities in your off time then the NBA will investigate. They don’t have to worry about players like Steph

So this is probably the real reason he kept getting traded though cuz when the Hawks and Hornets started getting rid of him after a year it seemed like more then he was "disliked" by teammates. No straight man wants to think another cat is checking him out if he knows he's gay I don't care how productive he was on the court.

In his response, Howard denied that Harper was surprised by Kitty. He said “Plaintiff was aware that would also be arriving at the home prior to Plaintiff even arriving at Defendant’s home.” Howard admitted that Kitty was a man dressed as a woman. In addition, Howard admitted that he touched Kitty and Harper but said it was all consensual activity. “The three agreed to touch one another and to engage in consensual sexual activity,” Howard’s lawyer wrote.
