I know there had been speculation about dude for a while. It seems like a lot of people knew about dude

Makes it amazing that in today's culture there are still basically no players in any of these leagues openly out. Seems like there are a number of known gay dudes in all of these leagues at any one time

I mean you have gay stars in every other area of pop culture, gay women's athletes. Plus teammates, agents, opponents, etc clearly know these players are gay. There could even be some upside in endorsement money and notoriety for some of these players.

The owners of the teams wouldnt go for it.It would be the ultimate distraction if a superstar damn near hall of famer came out while playing and said he is gay. Crazy thing is its always lesser known players.
