For the most part, women have to be the centre of attention. It’s just in their nature. They spend hours getting dolled up just to stunt on other women, and to a much lesser extent, look good for her man.I don’t like how she was try to steal shine while Obama was in office ...but I’m chill cause few in this thread already mentioned it . Why do women wanna be in competition with their husbands is beyond me and I can always spot it.
We do the same too but we flex financially (car, houses, watches etc.)
Weddings are essentially Homecoming Queen Ceremonies on steroids for the bride. Ain’t no one give a fukk about the groom.
So in that respect, as men, we shouldn’t care about our ladies wanting to be in the spotlight but as you said, once they want to start competing, it turns from wanting attention into full blown narcissism and jealousy.
No one is saying wives of more successful husbands should just shut up and nod but there’s a way to do it and Ayesha is doing way too much. It’s one thing to talk about yourself but when it involves discussing intimate details of your relationship and complaining about getting less shine than your husband, it just reeks of insecurity.
I like Michelle Obama but again she was doing way too much. It’s like why am I seeing you more than your husband? Just let him lead the country and stop popping up.
