Every book I read as part of a HS class was useless.
Although "The Things They Carried" was somewhat entertaining.

That Paul Coelho book "The Alchemist" was the most pointless piece of shyt I've read in the last 15 years though.

Crime and Punishment, not a terrible book but I think it's overrated
A brave new world, boring and I love reading.
The Canterburry tales, starts off strong but gets pointless after the first couple of tales.

Edit: Clearly not the best review of those books but the question is pretty subjective so...
