Would be brolic to see the gawd BP feature in the sequel. He would prolly need a standalone flick before hand tho.

He told you his secret right when he punch the shyt out of that...... umm..... uh...... whatever that BIG ASS THING WAS! but he said his secret was that "he's alway's angry" (one of my favorite moments in the movie)

I was mad that they killed him off but he went out like a G...... "so that's what it does....."

Man I almost :ahh: when The Hulk grab Thor's hammer but then they gave a nikka blue-balls. :scusthov:

Yup. First time he Hulked out, he was fighting his anger and it got the best of him. He turned against his will and therefore had no will of his own.

2nd time he Hulked out in control of himself and therefore...in control of the Hulk.

Man this sh*t was on point. My girl, who doesnt watch comic movies at all, was hyped during the film too. This was one of the few times where the comedy in a comic movie was actually good and didnt take away from the movie. Also the final war scenes are usually just sensory overload but this one was great.

Man really, what is DC gonna do to try and get in on this money train? Only Batman is pulling in money and thats about to end pretty soon. The rest of their heroes are kinda wack movie wise so they need to think of something in a hurry.

Also what are they gonna to do explain away the Avengers in the later Iron Man, Thor, and Captain America movies? Are they all just gonna be away on assignment? They didnt even mention War Machine is out there somewhere. It would have been cool to see him fighting somewhere in the background on his own.

I don't think they need to explain that at all. Everyone could see at the end that they went their own separate ways, and it's a team of solo hero's that come together when there's a bigger threat than one of them can handle, so it's not awkward to see them doing things on their lonesome. They aren't like the X-Men or Fantastic 4 that live together and are always around each other. It has been pretty well established that they have their independent lives and problems.

If anything, I think this will make the future solo flicks more interesting, because now they don't have to drop :scheme: references about the other members. Everyone knows they all know each other, and now be incorporated into the others movies seamlessly through cameos if wanted.

Anyone else hear Hulk say, "demi-god" instead of "puny god", after he introduces Loki to the floor?

I couldn't hear what he said at all. I, along with the rest of the theater, was to busy laughing. I thought I kinda heard him say puny, plus it's one of Hulks go to phrases, but I couldn't hear enough to argue with you. I could see it either way.

Agreed with everyone who said that Hulk stole the show in the end.

Banner: That's the secret, Captain America - I'm always angry. :shaq:

Captain America: Hulk ... smash.

Hulk: :smugfavre:

That moment worked because Hulk wants to smash, and the audience wants to see Hulk smash, so EVERYBODY WINS :win: :win: :win:

Also, that one scene where they all collaborated with each other (starting with Iron Man reflecting a blast off Cap's shield was just amazingly well done.

they also broke the record for the highest opening weekend ever

The Avengers is the new king of the opening weekend.

The superhero movie grossed a unprecendented $200.3 million in its Friday-Sunday box-office debut, its studio estimated.

The film is the first to break $200 million in three days. It destroyed the mark held by the previous weekend record-holder, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2.

MOVIE REVIEW: The Avengers Is Simply Super

At IMAX theaters alone, The Avengers grossed about $15 million, roughly the same, the company said, as format-champ Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2.

"IMAX had one big issue," IMAX exec Greg Foster said in an email. "We ran out of seats to sell!"

After just over a week in release worldwide, The Avengers has grossed $641.8 million overall.

Here's an Avengers-revised rundown of the top 10 all-time opening weekends, as compiled per BoxOfficeMojo.com stats:
1.The Avengers, $200.3 million

2.Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2, $169.2 million
3.The Dark Knight, $158.4 million
4.The Hunger Games, $152.5 million
5.Spider-Man 3, $151.1 million
6.The Twilight Saga: New Moon, $142.8 million
7.The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn—Part 1, $138.1 million
8.Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest, $135.6 million
9.Iron Man 2, $128.1 million
10.Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1, $125 million
