Watched the first hour again last nite and I can't front Thor got to me. And it didn't happen the first two times I seen this. Him chopping off Thanos' head and just walking away and then being depressed and being a recluse who plays Fortnite all day and night and then when the Hulk mentions Thanos and him fronting like he isn't scared or depressed or deeply effected, etc. it was all just very sad. Great acting/writing.
It's incredible what they did with this movie there is like 0 action in the first hour of a blockbuster super hero movie it is all story and character development.

Why does Ironman die when he snaps away Thano's army? I get that the snap to erase half of all life in the universe hurts Thano, and hurts Hulk when he brings them back. They only get hurt when they do the snap and not die because they are stronger than Ironman, I get that.

The energy given off by wiping off or bring hack half the universe can't be anywhere near as much as killing an army of 100,000 at the most if we're being generous.

Merely wielding the gauntlet with one or two stones is more than a mortal human can bear. Wielding the full guantlet and using it should have been impossible for Tony. shyt would have killed Cap and Black Panther too. I doubt even Spiderman would have survived.

Tony Stark is just a regular human guy and we see when hulked snapped it Tony Stark made gauntlets aren't as strong as the one made on Nidavellir. I think the blowback or impact has nothing to do with the amount of people killed/brought back. It's just the act of snapping a gauntlet with 6 infinity stones is powerful.
