I prefer "Infinity War" because:

1. More Thanos.

2. We seen character combinations (Tony and the GOTG, Cap and Groot, etc.) that weren't possible in "End Game". And they'll never be seen again.

Having said that, some of you cats are wilding in here.

I don't know if you caught the movie late or watched a bootleg. I seen it day 1, showing 1, and it can't objectively be seen as disappointing.

I'm not talking about, did you (whoever) personally not like it. Or think it was disappointing. I'm talking about how it was received, over all. The shyt was like the Super Bowl. You will probably never see another movie event like this, in your entire life time. I mean....the fact that the main complaint is "well, it wasn't 'Infinity War'"....the only thing you can really compare it to, is the movie before it, because nothing like this had ever been done before. And probably never will be done, again.

First of all of course it's going to get compared to IW. That's a no brainer.

And 2nd,
Many super bowls have been disappointing and underwhelming. I honestly was underwhelmed with endgame. I just thought the plot was dumb af. The end battle was cool and that's the only part I would ever watch again when it comes to this movie. I know it's a comic book fantasy movie but the first half of this film for me was just dumb. I liked some of the comedy but it was just so lazy it took me out if the movie right away.

My brother I thought was enjoying it but then he turns to me about an hour in and was like, this is kind of dumb. I agreed. Thankfully it got better but the movie was a step down from IW regardless of all the fan service. :manny:

If I'm being completely honest, I'm a little sad the initial ride is over. :mjcry: I'm positive Marvel will come up with some compelling arcs going forward ( I am especially looking forward to Dark Avengers) but this was a one of one movie experience. It was just awesomely unprecedented and I'm very happy Marvel is getting all the props they deserve due to their feat.
I to like IW better than EG but really it is splitting hairs. Both are great.

That's why I said I'm not talking about individuals. Or anecdotal evidence.

I mean in terms of the sheer spectacle, you'll never see anything like this again. Very few people actually at the Super Bowl....would be like "this is underwhelming". Because it's a historic moment, regardless.

10 years and 20+ movies went into ending this one story....if your major takeaway is "time travel is dumb and/or lazy" :manny: I don't know what to tell you. Because that was a common theory over a year ago:

'Avengers 4' Will Prob Include Time Travel & These Theories Are So Good

So it's not as if this was completely out of left field. And nobody was sitting around like :dahell: "time travel, how stupid!" when those theories were being floated....so I dunno.

Maybe it wasn't so much the time travel but how it was executed. Just felt rushed and lazy. I don't give a fukk if it was announced early on it would be included, doesn't mean I have to be like, ok cool since they said time travel would be in the movie I have to like it. It didn't work for me. Felt like they just threw that bullshyt together and didn't seem organic.

I saw it day one, it’s literally the second part of infinity war that’s why it’ll be compared to it and the movie was just a big recap until the last battle no real tension in the movie, did have two nice moments with thor and his mom and with tony and his dad.

Me personally this the 3rd best avengers I’ll easily take IW and AoU over this

Man. Infinity War & Endgame are 2 different things altogether.

"Thanos the Movie" (I mean Infinity War) was built up to his arrival & the stones. Black Order got scrubbed but I knew that was coming, movie would've been 15 minutes long.

Endgame started slow, I agree. I don't see how people don't get they're trying to show how people coping with the dusting. It had more drama & character development than Infinity, which only needed to develop Thanos.

Both are good movies. I need more Savage Thanos, no Professor Hulk. Hawkeye fall off the cliff with Widow, nobody cared about Ronin but comic people who got it.

You know what I want for an uncut bluray is more of the world post the snap to see how people are coping with all the shyt that happened...:why: They only touched on it in the movie... Like why did Ross not even capture them after the fact...:mjlol: What happened around the world?

Exactly this, they connected 22 films and pulled of an ending that managed to close a huge era/storyline that wasn’t disappointing, seeing this on opening weekend with 7 others including my girl who I re watched every film in order with in the two months leading up to the film was one of, if not the best cinema experience iv had.

There are of course some time travel things that don’t make sense no matter how you try to spin it, but they can be looked over with the crazy amount of quality and consistency over a decade (minus a few duds)

This will probably rank 3rd behind Infinity War and Civil War for me.

:what:

"AOU" was absolute trash. But to each their own.

Which brings me to my next point....I understand not liking the movie. But cats coming in here talking about "are yall ready to admit" or any variation....I'd say no, the average person that went and seen this, to the tune of $2.6 billy....and is gonna go see it again this weekend....obviously aren't ready to admit anything. They like it.

And this next part isn't directed at you....but some of that comes off as attention whoring. A week after the movie came out, cats were making separate threads talking about "yeah, here's my negative review!" or "enough time has passed, can we all agree 'Endgame' isn't good?"....it's like....it was a fukking week. Most of the world hadn't even seen the movie yet.

That's why I said my post isn't directed at anyone. And what I'm saying isn't about whether whoever liked it, or disliked it. Or anecdotal evidence. I'm talking about the hot take culture that thrives on the internet.

Yea not even a mention of the sokovia accords they could've added some scenes to that instead of Hulk bro dabbing 5 fukking years later :beli:
