I've seen GotG a few times since it came out, honestly it doesn't hold up as well people want it to. It has the actors being uncomfortable in a new/strange role problem. GOTG2 and BP are stronger

Guardians is too corny for me. I don't need everyone in the entire cast to the class clown.

Endgame was the equivalent to Sting vs Hogan at Starcade ‘97.

The build up was epic...the finish was ass.

X-Men work best as an ensemble. Besides Wolverine no one can hold down a solo. What they need really is a Game of Thrones type budgeted TV series. Maybe have that culminate after a couple seasons to a blockbuster movie.

That’s strong comparison breh. I don’t think it was THAT bad an ending.

Though I do think history won’t be kind to this film. Because people love to go back in history and take popular things and go “lolol we’re so much smarter now, this thing wasn’t as good as we thought it was”

I think this film won’t be revered in history, but not too negatively. And the MCU impact will still be everlasting.

Cyclops needs to be the Captain America of the X-men like he is in the comics which I’m the MCU will so since that’s one major thing the Fox films never got right with cyclops.

I think theyre gonna gear up to do the Avengers vs X-Men event that took place in the comics a. Few years but a different version since Civil War already happened

Honestly, the X-Men cant go wrong with the MCU.

Imagine them introducing Wolverine in his mental state when he was sent out to kill the Incredible Hulk as part of the Weapon X programme

Or the origins of Logan as a boy in the 1800s

Lot of people been floating the idea that Dark Phoenix bombing so bad is going to make Marvel wait even longer for a reboot. Just people theorizing but it kinda makes sense.

Actually it might make it easier to recast earlier. They won't change Deadpool and because a lot of the characters have either ran its course or are forgettable, it won't be hard for them to reboot them.

Also, because Fox left a lot of meat on the bone when it came to X-Men characters, they can simply roll characters that were never used.

In addition to losing Captain Marvel entirely, the “defeminized” version of Avengers: Endgame also eliminates the part in the final battle where women rescue Tom Holland’s Spider-Man. I’m guessing that means the A-Force shot with all the female heroes is definitely cut. None of the male characters hug each other in this modified version of the movie, and Black Panther’s role is also minimized.

Also missing is the opening scene of the film where Hawkeye teaches his daughter to shoot with a bow and arrow. The reasoning for that cut, according to an accompanying document is that “Young women should learn skills to become good wives and mothers and leave the fighting to men.”
