Tbf, most people don't have any time to read the source material before seeing a film. It's easier to watch it unfold on a screen than read. Plus, comics books themselves are kind of a niche.

Eh, Disney has a girlpower agenda, theyve made this clear. They want to make up for decades of portraying disney princesses as damsels in distress or whatever.

It is what it is... Yeah its corny when forced but as long as it doesnt detract from the film its whatever. Most MCU films are packed with testosterone, anyway, no issue wit them getting that one scene off.

Disney isn't breaking new ground here and in fact I want you to stand corrected because Marvel is pulling from a comic series of theirs called, "Women of Marvel".

Marvel has literally made female centric titles since the 60s so it's nothing new.

Also, with writers like Chris Claremont females are some of the most powered in the Earth-616.

The reason why Marvel and DC only sell a few million comics every month is due to ease of bootlegging the digital comics which is why they introduced the paid platform to stream comics.

I've bootlegged shyt so much that I have entire hdd dedicated to them.

People are reading comics more than ever which is evident in people buying tablets.

If you go to the app store of either android or apple or microsoft the top apps are always ebook readers, image viewers and pdf readers... why do you think that is?

If it wasn't for limewire back in the days I wouldn't have read every comic under the sun.

Breaking Cap's shield isn't as difficult as people make it seem. Vibranium's whole "gimmick" is it absorbs kinetic energy....if whatever is hitting it (Thanos) exerts more kinetic energy than the shield can contain, then it basically overloads and breaks.

Up until now there just wasn't anything hitting it hard enough in the movies to make that happen. And 99.99% it would never happen.

Because he knew what they were going to do and what they were capable of because his android daughter time travelled and revealed the future to him so he was aware of the mistakes he took.

Also, Thanos in the Earth 616 universe is unmatched in brute physical strength which is something they made evident in the comics.

A shame the X-Men and Fantastic 4 aren't involved in the MCU because so much story is missing in the films but it was perfectly executed regardless.

None of the films were even remotely bad except Iron Man 2 + 3 and Thor 2. Everything else has done the source material justice in my opinion.

I know this won't go over well on The Coli but I think Guardians of The Galaxy 1 is far superior to Black Panther. Damn near better than the comic books if not 1:1 on par. IDGAF.
