:blessed:If it wasn’t for the Irishmen and once upon a time in Hollywood this is top 3 of the year

If those 2 for some astronomical reason aren’t dope( we all know they will) it’s number one depending on toy story( I got a soft spot for those and TS3 always has me :mjcry:). No movie has done that to me as an adult

Also this movie was so damn detailed and needs to be watched at least twice if you watched all the movies. Felt like I missed half of the movie on my second viewing.

North Jersey but I miss Cali :sadcam:
what are the records and what movies?
The Force Awakens has the domestic record at over $936 million. End Game should crack $800 million by tomorrow.

Avatar has the world wide record with $2.788 billion. End Game is at $2.677 billion.

At this point in the year there are too many big budget movies dropping and too many options overall for End Game to have sustainability.

It should barely scrape by avatar I think Spider-Man (one last gift from the gawd Stan lee :SpideyWow: )is gonna give it a stimulus package and make people go see it again in one final burst. It’ll finish around 2.8 billy. Clap for em :stanmarvelgang:

Nah breh. The overseas market done ran its course pretty much. If you look at the domestic trends, even if they do 20% more weekly than Infinity War at this point, it will still fall well short.

Spiderman won't matter. Everyone has seen it or knows what happened. People went to see marvel movies leading up to the Avengers. It don't happen the other way around.

It still broke a lot of records. :manny:

All of the movies that are above it came out in December. That's a 4 month window to make a lot of money. End Game and Infinity War dropped at the beginning of the summer blockbuster run. Too many movies coming out for it to have long term sustainability. Godzilla dropping this weekend. which which will take away more ticket sales. The number of theaters showing End Game will also start to rapidly dwindle.

Black Panther was stuck at $699 million for almost 2 months before Disney had it put back in more theaters and it took 3 more weeks for it to cross $700 million. Take away the first week and The Force Awakens easily crushes it. Avatar got over 2 billion in foreign sales alone.
