the work they did was to introduce a series of characters that they believed would make up the secret war. The new avengers, the thunderbolts, and the young avengers. The D+ shows were built almost entirely around this. Plus other random people in post credits like fukkin adam warlock, Hercules, the black knight, blade, Clea, eros and fukkin pip.

Some of those properties address the multiverse/over arching story (WandaVision, Dr. Strange 2 and Marvels). They would likely do more instead of just writing him out of the MCU in Loki Season 2.

Despite the issues people still wanted Kang back and I never said anything to the contrary regarding Doom taking over. Where you quoted yourself I'm pretty sure I agreed even back then.

Honestly, I wasn't impressed much by Jonathan Majors in Quantumania. He was just OK as Kang in that.
