From what I heard, they said he's out. I hope not true.
Marvel is not going to wait another decade for this nikka to grow up.
They already offered the role of a grown T’Challa Jr to various black actors and they declined.
Women lead superhero movies do not sell unfortunately and Marvel is not stupid enough to risk losing money with one again (BP 2 only sold decent because people wanted to see what they’ll do without Chadwick and even then they didn’t reach a billion like the first one).
The Black Panther series can NOT survive unless they recast the character completely through time travel or age up T’Challa Jr at the very least.
While I agree with most of this post, I doubt they’ve offered the role to multiple actors only to be turned down. The role of T’Challa is a potentially career making role. Trust me, not too many black actors on the rise in Hollywood are turning the opportunity to lead a Marvel franchise down.

Winter Soldier and Infinity War were top tier from start to finish. Civil War and End Game were mostly mid movies salvaged by intense/peak fan service 3rd acts.
So from a pure quality perspective Russos can be hit or miss, the latter especially when they gotta work backwards (i.e. we need a big 3rd act superhero battle with all the characters… now figure out how to get us there)
To adapt Hickman’s 2015 Secret Wars in 2 movies… basically going 0 to 100 (Hickman had about 5-6 years of subtle to tangible buildup before the actual Battleworld stuff)… that’s a lot of ground to cover to make it make sense and be coherent.
But the Russos understand comic psychology well enough that they’re the best suited for the task.

These new films will only have Mcfeely. They also failed on The Gray Man.
It's not the Russos working backwards as much as much as it is an ensemble .. one which will not be involved in the new films.
That's the biggest x-factor in my book.

Anyway, the multiverse means that there are different characters in different universes. Most likely, RDJ's Doom will be from a different universe, and he will end up in the mainline MCU universe (this will probably happen at the end of Fantastic Four: First Steps).
