The BP franchise is now Shurri and watching T’Challa Jr grow up.
Disney aren’t going to radically “age up” T’Challa jr when there’s money to be made going the Tom Holland route with the character.

Marvel ain’t that stupid. A Shuri BP franchise would flop so hard (the second movie only did good cause of Chadwick tribute). They’re 100% going to age up T’Challa Jr in Secret Wars and make him the new BP.
Yeah, the Black Panther franchise is finished without a grown T'Challa Jr (or variant T'Challa).

I dont see this but I guess time will tell.
I also dont see him rejecting it because he'll only be in Doomsday and Secret Wars. Those 2 will probably be the biggest movies since Endgame/infinity war. Would be stupid to reject that if he has any interest in the role.
Breh they are bringing in Denzel for BP3 for a reason. The movie will be about Shurri and a teenage T’Challa Jr with Denzel supporting. The movie is not flopping. Then any follow up movies are passed to T’Challa jr as the main character.
They will want the audience to see T’Challa Jr journey from kid - teenager - adult like they are doing with Spider-Man. They also make more money that way. They also get to use an actor for longer on a CHEAPER deal.
T’Challa jr is not going from kid to a grown adult. T’Challa jr is also a Ryan Coogler created character that he came up with BEFORE Chad passed and before secret wars was even a thing. He clearly wants to tell a story about this character.
The movies will be big but Black Panther will not be a primary character or storyline focus. Chad probably had about 5 minutes of screen time across Infinity War and Endgame.
Civil War did way more for the character than those movies.

Women lead superhero movies do not sell unfortunately and Marvel is not stupid enough to risk losing money with one again (BP 2 only sold decent because people wanted to see what they’ll do without Chadwick and even then they didn’t reach a billion like the first one).
The Black Panther series can NOT survive unless they recast the character completely through time travel or age up T’Challa Jr at the very least.

If the role was T’Challa jr and that character is going to be the lead of the BP franchise an actor isn’t going to turn that role down
You seem to think T’Challa Jr was created to recast a new T’Challa. Yet the character was in the Black Panther 2 script which included Chad as Black Panther.
So you think Ryan Coogler creates a character that’s a son of T’Challa who is also introduced as a child to then suddenly be a grown ass Black Panther in the next movie where we don’t even see how the character became BP?
I still can’t believe we are 2 movies away from this, I know there’s been some restructuring due to Majors/Kamgng but I have no idea how they are organically gonna pull this off without it being fan service and fan service alone
