That's what's stupid about what he's done. I highly doubt Avenetti is gonna risk his career on some lie like this...only dumb ass lawyers like Giuliani and Cohen do that shytWhat if that investigation uncovers that the allegations were true?
You don't have to agree with him but he's spot on about it needing to be a white man and that a white man's words hold more weight. This is America. Don't let Twitter and Tumblr gas you all up. Dems want the black vote, support and effort and they'll be some support roles and nice cushy positions tossed around when the time is right, but unless they can field a once in a generation candidate like Obama (Gillium might have a shot depending on how the next few years go), it's going to be hard to get another black man in office for the time being. The Dems are going to be cautious about another black candidate if for no other reason than the fear it may rile up the GOP base like Obama did. And despite all the virtue signalling on Twitter; white people of all stripes would be satisfied with an average white man in that office over an above average black man. And a black woman? Good luck. Just the way it is, for now. That's not an Avenati problem (and he has a few) that's an American problem.
Totally unnecessary victory lap by Grassley and he knows he can get away with it because Avenatti is on the outs with the Dems.

He's right but he has to be aware of the people who he wants to get to vote for him.
Also, Grassley just opened up a can of worms. Julie wanted to be interviewed by the FBI and 45 limited the scope to not included her. Now, they will have to interview and investigate her claims to prove that she'd lied.
