Well NZ is very similar to Canada. I was born and raised in MTL. Very liberal yet still very racist. Their liberal notions has more to do with their own freedom to act out. They don’t care for minorities. They have quotas to hire minorities but once the quota is reached they will just hire their own.

The first place I worked at here was a recruitment agency. They told me straight up that the permanent higher roles were reserved for white people born in the country and mostly white NZ. They told me to tell non - whites that the positions were filled.

Kiwis are known for being very xenophobic. Heck, a lot of them don’t like white Americans and white Canadians. Now, they are seeing that white South Africans are killing them in the business sector and they are having issues too. White South Africans do not integrate well at all.
