I hated how the writers and producers turned Aunt Viv who was a strong educated black woman that was vivacious and full of life into a boring housewife who was nothing more than a background character that did nothing but bytch and whine to Phillip and took care of little Nicky. Also Janet Hubert was a much better actress and better looking than Daphne Maxwell- Reid
