What do you mean how so? I was an auditor, I know how it is but I didnt leave with a long ass letter that would accomplish nothing and only make me look like a whiny bytch. Plus, she included a damn comparison between Beyonce and Britney Spears. How simple is that?

The work you do as an associate isn't really necessary and never results into any kind of adjustment or difference in opinion.

Not just the cliques, but everybody being the same age, having the same credentials and more or less the same talent creates nothing but drama and backstabbing.

It's giving people jobs and that's what matters plus its learning the field which once you advance is necessary to be able to make those adjustments and give those opinions.


I worked at a small firm but I did notice the drama and competitiveness which annoyed the crap out of me along with the favoritism between the managers , the seniors and the staff. But again her rant wasn't necessary. I think it will do more harm then good.

Even if you've got a CPA and you're starting with one of the Big Three, being on the lower end of the totem pole is brutal.

I can't blame her, but what she's going through is very common in massive corporate settings.
