Adam Silver's masterful(:troll:) delivery of Sterling's punishment was a revelation. :lupe: i've just realized how much i shouldn't have given a fukk about Sterling or the reactions to it anymore. Everybody is full of shyt :pachaha: fukking Jesse Jackson was on ESPNLA giving his opinion like I should give a fukk. you hear comments on there like "this is good for mankind" :russ: I'm like ":wtf: so a 81 year old billionaire owner getting banned for saying some racist is great for mankind?, what about all the other owners who were :whoa: for a minute there being a afraid that their skeletons might be exposed too" Best believe Sterling is not the only owner who feel some kind of way about black people or other ehtnic group they deem lower than them. shyt Gilbert's outrage at Lebron leaving cleveland and subsequent CBA to prevent shyt like that from happening again should have been a warning but most of yall probably forgot about it by now.

shyt I was :salute: Mickey fukking Arrison the other day for being one of the first owners to speak out only to find out later that he too aint shyt.

so cool off the (faux) outrage and calls for public lynching brehs.

have these other owners have a documented history of discriminating against minorities :sas1:

the whole outlook you are taking is what cacs do when a few black dudes rob steal and kill, they are all like that .

Sorry I won't paint all of the owners with the same brush.

I agree with you but that's life man honestly people are selfish and worried about what affects them first and otherwise don't care much about it. That's one big reason why we can have all these different types of isms because of that and that'll never go away IMO. We also don't have enough time to champion everything that goes off wrong so that's another reason why people mainly put their energy into big stuff like this. I do agree regardless of the issue the grandstanding at times is like that Mutombo gif.
So you also agree some sort of "concern quota" needs to littered with check marks in order for concern about one thing to be genuine.

Since I wasn't with gays on the chik fil a thing beyond saying that's stupid, there's something selfish in my caring.

You'd criticize someone dedicating their life in the fight against breast cancer as incomplete because they're not a part of the battle against foot fungus

These artificial quotas are nothing but deflections or dudes on some oneupsmanship on some social issue dikk sizing contest. Nothing more.

Lets understand this: he didn't get in trouble simply because he had racist views. He got in trouble because he had racist practices and viewed his team as 'slaves' and not just "******s". Who knows what the result would have been if the second tape never came out, but I think that put the nail in the coffin for him.

For those saying things about homophobic comments, for him to get in the same amount of trouble he'd have to say something to the extent of the team being full of gay players because they take showers together and post up each other in the paint, all while saying "fakkit", dropping an AIDS/HIV reference, and implicating a beloved white gay figure.

Sterling is the most he could've to get in trouble and there was nothing else to be done. Give Silver credit for not disappointing as suspected, only people who should be looked at funny is Cuban and any owner that doesn't vote to have him removed as owner.

Lebron came out a winner out of this, I use to be a hater but now he's got my respect as a man at least.

why don't you look up some these owners. bruh. What im saying is that I can't get myself to celebrate Sterling's public lynching :manny: . if you felt gratification by watching Silver's faux-angry delievery then :salute: to you. shyt felt like a pat on the head. "good boy, good boy... "

shyt Clippers' message on their website is even more comical "we are one" :pachaha:

EDIT: Whitlock with another "almost article". Always has to insert himself into whatever story he writes. Made some good points about Sterling but he had to deviate from that point to insert some stupid story about his father's "pillow talk" to sterling or about his own interpration of Sterling's mistress diaries.

Q: Is it possible for Silver and the NBA to terminate Sterling’s franchise ownership?

A: Yes. Under the terms of Paragraph 13 of the constitution, the owners can terminate another owner’s franchise with a vote of three-fourths of the NBA Board of Governors, which is composed of all 30 owners.

The power to terminate is limited to things like gambling and fraud in the application for ownership, but it also includes a provision for termination when an owner “fails to fulfill” a “contractual obligation” in “such a way as to affect the [NBA] or its members adversely.” Silver and the owners could assert that Sterling’s statements violated the constitution’s requirements to conduct business on a “reasonable” and “ethical” level.

Any owner or Silver can initiate the termination procedure with a written charge describing the violation. Sterling would have five days to respond to the charge with a written answer. The commissioner would then schedule a special meeting of the NBA Board of Governors within 10 days. Both sides would have a chance to present their evidence, and then the board would vote. If three-fourths of the board members vote to terminate, then Sterling would face termination of his ownership. It would require a vote of two-thirds of the board to reduce the termination to a fine. Terminating a franchise would obviously be a drastic remedy, but the potential of the termination procedure gives Silver and the other owners vast leverage in any discussion with Sterling about an involuntary sale of his team.

im just saying , sterling was a known bigot for years, and there was audio proof,

to chastise and say a bunch of nba owners are ike that with no proof is the same as cacs stereotyping us because a a few nuggas robbed em in a hoody and now we are all bad

people can say whatever, i still think as ac ollective whole teh nba has the best owners out of any major sport. especially now that sterling is gone
