Adam could not have played this any better.
1. Did everything he could have sanely done as the commissioner...(their were other things he could have done but they would not have made a lot of sense). Ban him for life from the stadium AND day to day operations. The day to day operations stuff is crucial because now Sterling is going to have to "pick" some people he trust, which in turn exposes these people at "Sterling" guys. The ban from the owners meetings was huge to, since Sterling will never get to plead his case to any sort of board.
2. When that one lady asked "Is it okay to take away an owners team for something he said privately"...based Adam hit her with the "well it's public now"...
3. When dude asked "what if the other owners do not vote for sterling to lose his ownership"...based Adam hit him with "I have full confidence that the other owners will vote Donald out"
4. I don't think Sterling will make as much money as people think he will for selling the Clippers. Once they vote him out, the clock starts ticking, he has a certain amount of time to sell the team before the NBA steps in and does with it what they did with New Orleans
I expect Magic and his Dodger investment buddies to swoop in and make an offer that based Adam will convince Donald of being "very generous"
Say racist shyt to your jump off and lose your franchise breh...
5. Oh yeah, excellent move to put onus on the owners...any owne rthat votes to keep Sterling will catch hell in the media...
Ya boy Cuban already backtracking...going from "oh no we can't take his team to" "I agree with Adam 100%"
And with all of this, somehow no-one seems to notice that in California it is straight up illegal to record a conversation without the other party knowing it...the fact that Sterling camp has not brought this up once, means that Donald knew he was being recorded...otherwise he'd probably win this in court and keep his franchise
