Ok what he said was not nice, and most of us would not have said what he said. However it was in HIS home, on HIS phone, to HIS girlfriend. I kinda thought that in America we had a little thing called freedom of speech. He should have the right to say what he wants, to whom he wants, when he wants, no matter how hateful or spiteful it is. I also think that people need to grow thicker skin- it seems like everybody gets offended so easily these days. What ever happened to letting it roll off your back or ignoring ignorant statements and going on with life?

Can someone give me a quick rundown of everything that has happened since Sunday? I stopped following this thread after the Clips played the other night and haven't been watching any games or news as well.

Silver did everything he could do under his power, can't hate on that AT ALL.

Now it's time to shift focus on the owners for them to kick him out.

I think they're keeping that "releasing all players" card in their back pocket in case something goes wrong with that and they can't force Sterling out or force him to sell.

NBA is playing chess out there. :whoo:

*check*

Seeing Sterling's next move and whether or not he gives up will determine if they make their power play.

that checkmate.

What he say?

Did he not listen? They are trying to force him to sell the team.
JVG said that will this lifetime ban apply if a player/coach/exec. gets caught saying some shyt like this.

And Silver didn't deny that somebody from Sterling's family could buy the team. That's the only thing that has me :patrice: after the conference.

And SAS and Jemele about to argue on SC live right now

Wouldn't this punish the fans of Clippers even worse and hurt the NBA brand(sponsors would not come back) by still associating with Sterling?
Clippers fans would get over it, its very few diehard fans. We talking about what would be the worst punishment for him, and that would be it. He bout to potentially dbl his net worth

I'm just thankful that this pigskin Sterling said what he said about black people COLLECTIVELY instead of about, or just to, one individual because the last thing we needed is some of token house negro that's just happy to no longer be in the field with the others, to forgive him. We would've undoubtedly had the inevitable idiotic black pundits who try to act like they hold weight in the black community, justifying the forgiveness.

Again, thank God this caucasoid beast Sterling made it about ALL black people & didn't give himself any wiggle room for a c00n to justify what he said :blessed:.

Don't get it twisted brehs i'm glad this bigot is gone, but the fact he is STILL getting paid and will potentially be a billion dollars richer bothers me breh.
Why should it bother you? Sterling made a great investment in the NBA and deserve the rewards despite being a racist slum lord. He took the initial risk with his money so its capitalism. The NBA just need to force him to sell and disassociate from him.
