Negativity (Kayfabe)
He'll get a slap on the wrist and like all the other racist before him Paula Dean, Don Imus, Dog the Bounty Hunter, Mel Gibson and the list goes on he'll fall back for a bit then be back like it never happened.
Because racism doesn't end and begin with a man.

I'm still flabbergasted at this idea Sterling is blot on a clean slate that is "post-racial America." Ppl are just havin' their bubble bursted.

There's a gang of Donald Sterling's still operating in hiding.

people condemning the players for still playing are missing the big picture. Players play for the fans and each other. I think they should go out there and compete. Not for the owner, but for the people that support them.
You think fans pockets will get hurt if they stop playing one game?
:wtf:

Fans won't care if they boycott one game

GTFO of here with that "knowing full well his character" BS. Most players don't know what their owner's past is. Are you saying you knew about Sterling all of this time? Most people didn't know...which is why this is national news.
It's only national news cause people like to pretend we are in a "post racial America" the rest of us know what 80 year old rich white men are about. And yes I knew of the charges against him, it was actually pretty well known before any of this.

It's an easy cop out for the white power structure. Demonize one alleged racist, to keep us distracted from addressing the system that enables him and will create the next him.

Now that they know, it's time for them to take action...nothing is going to happen to this dude unless the players force the league's hand.

I'm not calling them c00ns...but right now they're the only people who can get justice for this, and I'll be disappointed if they walk away from that opportunity.
Not playing wont do anything but hurt themselves. A real power move would be to stand up and start pursuing some ownership of their own, otherwise this story is destined to repeat itself.

i gaurantee you most of those players didn't know he was a bigot. you really think the bulk of sports players keep up with past/current events (the elgin shyt, the housing shyt?) there's no telling how many of them didn't know about this guy's true nature.
Common man his an 80 year old rich white man. It would be more surprising if he wasn't racist. And if they didn't check up on their prospective employer enough to see the two very public charges brung against him, then they are dumb and deserve what they got, and they still need to fulfil the contracts that they signed.

people condemning the players for still playing are missing the big picture. Players play for the fans and each other. I think they should go out there and compete and continue to generate revenue for the slave owner. Not for the owner, but for the people that support them.

If he doesn't make money during the suspension who does? His wife? Daughter? Son in Law? Fukk that. I have a hard time believing the man has stricter guidelines for his hoes than his family.
