Just saw on SC that the Miami Heat flipped their t shirts inside out and threw them on the ground at half court

LeBron! :myman::myman::myman:

You know he was behind this. It may be small, but at least they're backing the Clippers and showing unity within the players about this. If the sanctions tomorrow aren't harsh enough & more teams start doing this the NBA is going to have a real problem on their hands.

Everywhere...You never there.
Being 100... this is a soul issue... this is a spirit issue ... that has come to the forefront via Sterling. Who are they pledgin' allegiance to?! Caesar? The Pharisees? The Sadducees? Or The Almighty Universal Truth?

Aura check, homie.

Top 4
On top of this this man has a history of this sort of behavior and the NBA let him be an owner in the face of all that. Skip Bayless says it best here

Why was it ok back then but now people are so mortified by it? Why was the NBA cool letting such a known racist own a team? Were all the black players that played for that team c00ns? Was Kobe who flirted with signing with the team who's owner was a known racist a c00n back then for it?

Why are the players getting attacked now?

1. because their is audio.

2. Hearsay, example elgin baylor lawsuit was thrown out

stern enabled it though for years,

4. its the same with the richie incognito, jonathan martin ish, it didnt blow up and become national fodder until their was audio and the list of text messages.

Don't let Mickey Mouse fool you. The only reason ESPN are going in now is because they finally realized how huge the situation is on a social level. Obama spoke on it, everyone is now weighing in on it, etc.. it's much bigger than sports. Don't forget how long they waited to report on it.

Also, now that the Clippers are losing sponsors ESPN and the NBA have to know this situation will not go away and they DO NOT want to be next. That's why I think they will have to act on Sterling and do something very substantial.

They won't do it out of respect for the black athletes or because of racism in general.. they will do it because they don't want to lose sponsors and viewership. Point blank.

I agree but whatever the motive is, it's good that they're going in on Sterling.
People gotta understand and remember that racism is bad for business.
As sad as it may sound, it seems like the only effective way to solve the problem.

eeehhhhhhhhhhh

I know people were coming at ESPN, but they only waited a few hours man.

Lets be honest in retrospect.

Thats not something you RUSH to print UNLESS YOU'RE SURE thats what happened. Theres lawsuits at risk if you do that.

"It's the little things that count" ... no homo

They didn't HAVE to do that.... same way Kobe doesn't HAVE to hold a press conference... Lebron is doing shyt on his own MERIT... #LikeRealnikkasSUPPOSEDtoDo
