Really disappointed in the way the media is covering this.

The most damning things Sterling said were the lines about how blacks "are the enemy", how he doesn't want her bringing blacks to the game, How he feeds them and gives them everything, and the worst is how he said black Jews were lower than dogs...100% lower than white Jews.

That last statement is not only racist, but it's anti-Semitic, and is coming from an influential billionaire from that same community! And of course, not being discussed in any televised media I've been watching.

If a white Christian owner said he didn't like Jews and that Christians were 100% better than Jews, and Jews were on the level of dogs, he'd be , at least fined/suspended indefinitely by now. Other organizations have set precedent for immediately suspending people for anti-Semitic comments within 24 hours, but this guy says this about blacks and they haven't even suspended him indefinitely from basketball activities, not even for the playoffs. It's ridiculous.

Stephen A was really alluding to black people, particularly those who want to attack him or the players, yet they won't do anything to challenge racism. He's right, we as black people should collectively as a group look to boycott the NBA's main sponsors and demand that Sterling is removed from being the owner of the Clippers.
Also, eventually, there should be all black sports leagues.

Aren't the players black too. So they should be apart of this collective group to protest and not that passive aggressive BS reversed t-shirt

The chatter of collective action, but yet we cannot agree that blatant disrespect should not be condone, is funny. Dudes who have a platform to compliment the anger/protest of those without the same platform are instead choosing to ask those without the platform to do more

Yall want to know the saddest shyt?


While everybody (including me) is focusing on REMOVING STERLING from the team (like that's the big hoorah), when THIS should be the REAL list of demands:


1) We need a Co-Black Commissioner that's 50 / 50 with Adam Silver, and has 50% power (It wouldn't be fair to outright remove silver from office)


2) Within 3 years, we need 2 more black MAJORITY owners BESIDES Jordan (so there will be 3 total)


3) After there is 3 minority owners, there should be a push to have at least 10 (1/3rd) of the owners be minorities within 15 to 20 years. Basically ANYTIME an owner wants to sell, blacks should get first priority until there is 10 minority owners. And under performing owners should be persuaded to sell even if they don't want to.


4) The "Constitutional Bi-Laws" need to be altered with language that will make the IMMEDIATE removal of an owner who harbors these type of feelings (as well as other things, not just race) COMPLETELY LEAGAL, and the league couldn't be sued for it.



If yall don't meet / agree to work on THESE demands (and sign paperwork, not just a hand shake), we will sit out.



This should be the REAL goal... And not just removing sterling... But its a damn shame with these gutless nikkas this would NEVER happen..
