I'm fairly sure TV contracts are negotiated years in advance, so not watching the game really doesn't do anything revenue wise to hurt them. If you're doing it just based on principle, I applaud that

But yeah, I'm not buying any NBA merchandise/tickets UNLESS this shyt is resolved in the right way, no slap on the wrists or half ass bullshyt

With black coaches on each sideline, I really wish they could've gotten together and figured out a more compelling protest/statement. It would've been dope if after the opening tip the teams traded 24 second violations for the first half of the game. Just total silence and time passing by while the players held the ball. shyt would've been wonderfully awkward.

I turned to see if they would sit out, but I'm watching this and they don't want to play. It's clearly obvious....and I find myself cheering for them a little bit. Basically no one is on their fukking side. NONE of us know what they're going through. There's cats on here talking about you quit because of your racist manager, but that ain't even close to the same thing you're asking them to do.

It is INFURIATING to me that cats here are invoking Ali ESPECIALLY when involving race. He had no problem calling black gorilla or uncle tom for the sake of entertainment so shut the fukk up about him and his damn principles. Jeff Van Gundy also needs to shut the entire fukk up as there's plenty of other examples that we can draw from where black athletes faced overwhelming racism and kept playing. Stop pontificating as if this is some great insult to black society because they're playing. I wanted them to sit. I wanted them to sit down and flip off every camera that came near them, but if they didn't they shouldn't be seen as c00ns or whatever else insult you think is cool to call them.

I can't front. I was one of those dudes who didn't want them to play so I was a bit disappointed and then they start playing and as a collective you can tell that something was just ripped out of them. So yeah, at first I was a lil mad that they took the court but now I feel bad for them becuz you can tell they're not into it.
