If you could get strip of something you OWN, then you don't really own it. If you could end the ownership of a man's organization in a little over 48 hours, then anyone's NBA ownership means jack shyt and anyone can get got. If it was that easy to boot an owner, every disgruntled fan would plant recorders near the owner they hate.
I don't think people like you will ever get it, winning benefits the owner, period, they could make whatever statement they want and still have to hand him the trophy, meanwhile any meaningful protest they would have been talked about years later and had an impact to Sterling ASAP. Falling in line is the worst thing that they should have done and you see it in the play of the team. Somethings are bigger than money, a trophy, a game, but white people know black people as a whole don't realize that. You guys are gullible, JVG ain't spitting anything. He's part of the media, they would love to blow this up to have something to talk about. Players should not play, give up their chance at a Championship, forget about their fans because of what some dumb, old, 80+year old racist said? Don't you think they would have more of a platform, if they won the whole thing and then said something while getting the trophy? All eyes on them? We won this for ourselves, for the fans, not our racist owner............. On live TV, millions watching around the world.

I feel you. That takes time though. Way more than 48 hours.I've always viewed the Mafia as a crude but insightful model for how institutions/powerful groups work. No, you cannot just take the Clippers away without repercussions. But these other owners in this thing of theirs are all powerful, wealthy men who want, above all else, "to provide for their families." And as such, anything that bring undue and unflattering attention to the family gets dealt with. They can't take the Clippers, but they damn sure are well versed in the language of making it unpleasant for Sterling to maintain ownership of the Clippers. When push comes to shove, a league of powerful men with lawyers on deck and influence to spare trumps one solitary fukktard. If they want him out, best believe they can get him the fukk out,
This is sad. This game should not be played right now. These dudes are somewhere else mentally.
Breh, I won't hold that neg rep against youAnd I don't want to diminish what you did, but it only affected two people, you and maybe your racist manager. What statement was made? Did you organize a boycott consisting of all employees at your job? Did you write letters to your HR department? Did you contact local media outlets? Does it frustrate you that someone that wasn't in your shoes (me) is judging your response to your unique situation? Personally, I think the Clippers players missed an opportunity to fully utilize that moment and make a statement, but I'm not going to sit here calling them c00ns and slaves and saying what they should've done. Internet nikkas are way too comfortable doing shyt like that.ive quit a job because of a racist manager.
So b/c no one voted him in people think the league has no responsibility for this shyt? Didn't Stern intervene in that trade with CP3 and pretty much make him go to the Clips?
