You're missing the point.
If this was an anti-semetic comment, a comment about abuse against women, a comment about gays, how quick would the NBA have reacted? We are 2 days out and the NBA won't even concede to the fact that this is him on tape! They are throwing around the word "alleged" and any other ambiguous term they can find to make it seem like it's not him while they have professional lip readers on deck for anything a black player may say about gays.
The league is simply being inactive here because the players are being inactive. If the players don't play today, how long do you think it takes Silver to pass a judgment then? Bet it would be done by the time the next game comes around so as to not fukk up the NBA's tv money. Right now, I wouldn't be surprised if this shyt sat in limbo until the CLips were eliminated. The Clippers are not making it a big deal so the league will not as well.
If these cats SUCK so bad that, while in the prime of their career, they can't take a stand for their pride less they miss the championship this year as if they won't have the opportunity next year, they will NEVER have a championship, point blank.
In a regular job, a board of directors would have had him removed ASAP and employees wold not even have to deal with it from the jump.
They could AT LEAST have respect, but now they won't even have that. Definitely NOT a ring.
