I gain more and more respect for Lebron. Here you have arguably the most famous sports athlete in the world and he has spoken out on several racial issues. Kobe nor Jordan has done that while they were playing. With Richard Sherman being more vocal about racial issues, I believe you will start to see more educated sports athletes stepping up and voicing their opinions in a sensible way.

I work at a place that is probably 70% white and after Lebron left Cleveland, you can hear the underline racism on their dislike for Lebron. And majority didn’t even watch basketball. At the time, I disliked Lebron for basketball reasons and they’re disliking him for non-basketball reasons (tattoos, make too much money, he was thug, etc.). Ever since then, I’ve been a fan of Lebron.
